Self Discovery through Yoga and Action Methods

One morning, as I sat in my yoga class, I realized Yoga is a warm up to psychodrama and wouldn't it be wonderful to combine the body, mind and spirit to create powerful and deep changes in our lives? I approached Lisa, my yoga instructor, and realized that we had the same energy and commitment to our work. Thus, a workshop was born!!!”

This workshop uses very gentle yoga as a warm up to the enactment of people's dramas. No yoga or psychodrama experience necessary, just a willingness to share with others and work on personal issues while incorporating gentle movement and stretching. Lisa Palmer will begin with gentle yoga, consisting of stretching and movement, which provides the grounded connection to the present moment and begins the process of opening the heart. After the yoga warm-up, participants will focus on what is coming up for them emotionally. They will then be led by Carole Oliver, to move into a self exploration of issues that were warmed up through the process of stillness. Carole will lead the group through a series of experiential techniques so old agendas can be completed, including grieving, trauma or celebration. Lisa will conclude by leading the group in a guided meditation. Because of the supportive, non judgmental nature of the group, participants can make breakthroughs that are long lasting.

This unique workshop is for any man or woman who wants to grow personally and/or professionally.
